Brother
You chipped my teeth
Waving that sawed
Off leg, the wood
Connecting us,
Our mother’s house
Turned blunt weapon.
You locked yourself
In her shed, where
She kept useless
Things, to save us.
The police grinned
When you said you’d
Blow yourself up.
But I don’t laugh
At you, brother.
You’re dangerous.
You smile with my
Secrets shining
There in your mouth.
