Together in an unholy alliance since the early days of the 21st century, the Boss DR-770 and the Korg EA-1 make their first full-scale sonic attack here on Evasion. Reinforced by the deadly and unpredictable Akai MPC-1000, the album contains 22 hard fought skirmishes that range from apocalyptic dance rampages to acerbic political screeds set to synthy-sized groove bullets. The album is named after the infamous zine, Evasion, by Anonymous, that well-known punk, vegan, street activist, who I hope is still out there living vicariously on the generosity of Whole Foods and Odwalla. Enjoy, or not, but indulge in these sounds the way Anonymous would want you to: free.
